Our CEO Duniya Moore introduces the evening, recounting the challenges that would hamstring our former company Helastel, and how the team moved through seven circles of business hell to rework, revise and reform as illumo digital. Duniya shares the business precepts that enabled the continuing team to not only survive, but thrive, and how business leaders can navigate poisoned waters within their own territories.
Professional motivational speaker Jonathan Acott then takes the mic to tell his story of surviving six cancers. His harrowing story of treatments and surgeries is presented with humour and candour, recounting the highs, lows and life lessons he’s learned along the way. Jonathan draws the parallels between his story and yours, inspiring delegates towards positive change and underscoring the power of perseverance.
The talk is run in partnership with TechSPARK, who saw the talk as an ideal fit for their SW Founders relaunch event, inspiring the business leaders of tomorrow. The talk is open to all business professionals. Free nibbles and refreshments are provided, and the talks are followed by a short networking session.
